Accessibility Statement

Lucky Jewellery is committed to making its website and online services usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including disabled people and people who use assistive technologies.

We aim to make reasonable adjustments where a disabled customer would otherwise be placed at a substantial disadvantage when accessing our website, information, products or customer service.

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our design and testing reference. WCAG is a recognised technical standard for improving access for people with visual, hearing, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning and neurological disabilities.

The website is currently in private preview and has not yet completed a full independent accessibility audit.

We therefore do not claim that every page or feature fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA at this stage.

Our current position is:

• the website is being designed and reviewed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the target;

• new pages and features should follow the same accessibility requirements;

• accessibility testing will continue before public launch and after material changes; and

• identified problems will be prioritised according to their impact on customers.

We aim to make it possible for customers to:

• navigate the main website and forms using a keyboard;

• see a visible keyboard focus indicator;

• zoom and enlarge text without losing essential content or functionality;

• use headings, labels and page structure that work with screen readers;

• understand links, buttons, form instructions and error messages;

• use the website on mobile, tablet and desktop devices;

• access meaningful text alternatives for important images;

• pause, stop or control moving content where applicable;

• use sufficient colour contrast for important text and controls;

• avoid relying on colour alone to communicate essential information;

• review important information before submitting an enquiry, reservation, order or membership request; and

• contact us through an alternative method where an online function cannot reasonably be used.

Jewellery is highly visual and natural materials may contain colour, translucency, texture, inclusions, stone lines, lustre and other features that are difficult to communicate fully through short alternative text.

We aim to provide useful product names, written descriptions, dimensions, material information, certificate details and care information alongside images.

A customer who cannot access the visual information may contact us for a more detailed written or verbal description of a product. We will explain what can reasonably be observed, but a description does not replace a physical inspection or an independent laboratory report.

Because the website is still in private preview, the following areas require continuing review and testing:

• alternative text for all product, editorial and uploaded images;

• keyboard order, focus visibility and focus trapping in menus, dialogs and forms;

• form labels, validation messages and screen-reader announcements;

• colour contrast in all interactive states;

• mobile reflow and zoom behaviour;

• captions, transcripts or text alternatives for video and audio content;

• accessibility of downloadable documents, including older PDF or office files;

• third-party payment, delivery, analytics, authentication, embedded media or support tools; and

• member-only, account, reservation and administration workflows.

A listed area does not necessarily mean that every page has a failure. It means that the area remains subject to testing and improvement.

The website may use or link to services operated by third parties, such as payment providers, couriers, certificate laboratories, maps, embedded media, authentication services or the separate Academy website.

We do not control the accessibility of independent third-party websites or applications. We will nevertheless try to choose appropriate providers, avoid unnecessary barriers and offer a reasonable alternative where our own customer journey depends on an inaccessible third-party function.

If information or a service is not accessible to you, please contact us and explain:

• the page, document, product or function concerned;

• the format or adjustment you need;

• the assistive technology or device you use, where relevant; and

• how we can contact you.

Depending on the request and what is reasonably available, we may be able to provide:

• plain-text or accessible HTML information;

• a larger-text version;

• a written product description;

• a verbal explanation by telephone or video call;

• assistance completing an enquiry or membership request;

• an accessible copy of a document; or

• another reasonable way to access the same information or service.

We will not charge a disabled customer for a reasonable accessibility adjustment.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports promptly and normally provide an initial response within 10 working days. Complex requests, technical repairs or third-party issues may take longer, but we will explain the next step where reasonably possible.

If you are dissatisfied with our response, please reply to the same email and ask for the matter to be reviewed.

Nothing in this statement removes any right or remedy available under applicable equality, consumer or data-protection law.

This statement was prepared on 19 July 2026 while the website was in private preview.

It is based on an internal review of the intended website structure, customer journeys and accessibility requirements. It is not a certification or an independent audit report.

We intend to:

• review the website before public launch;

• test representative pages, forms and account journeys;

• review new features before release where reasonably practicable;

• investigate material accessibility reports; and

• review this statement at least annually or after a significant change.

We may update this statement to reflect testing results, improvements, new functions, legal requirements or changes to third-party services.

The latest version will display the date of its most recent update.
