How to measure your bangle size
A five-minute method at home. Two ways to measure, one conversion chart, and a printable sizing card you can use at your desk.
Palm-width method
Measure the widest part of your palm — excluding the thumb.
- 01Place a ruler across the back of your hand at the widest point below the knuckles.
- 02Keep fingers relaxed and slightly together; do not press.
- 03Record the width in millimetres — this is your palm width.
Fist-circumference method
Wrap a soft tape around your hand when it is clenched into a fist.
- 01Clench your hand as if slipping on a bangle; keep the thumb tucked in.
- 02Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the hand.
- 03Record the circumference in millimetres.
Convert your hand measurements to bangle size
Enter your palm width and fist circumference in millimetres. The converter reads the chart for you and returns the closest round and princess bangle diameters.
From hand measurement to inner diameter
Round bangles (圆镯) sit close to the palm — read the round column. Princess bangles (贵妃镯) are oval; select a size 1 – 2 mm larger than your round size.

- Try on your bangle in the morning — the hand is at its most relaxed then.
- If the fist measurement falls between two ranges, choose the smaller round size or size up 1 – 2 mm for a princess shape.

Round bangle · Princess bangle
Round bangle 圆镯
A perfect circle. Inner diameter (内径) is measured across the opening; width (宽度) and thickness (厚度) shape its silhouette.
Princess bangle 贵妃镯
A softly flattened oval. Sized by both long inner diameter (长内径) and short inner diameter (短内径); it sits more closely to the wrist.
A card for the drawer
Print this page at 100% scale (do not shrink to fit). Verify the 50 mm reference line with a ruler before use.
Measure widest palm (excluding thumb). 测量手掌最宽处（除大拇指）。
Wrap tape around clenched fist. 握拳后量取周长。
